Congratulations to She Innovates! She Innovates has received $5,000 from the Provost’s Office and has been named an official University of Pittsburgh Year of Diversity event!
She Innovates is Pitt’s only all-women’s hackathon, and it will take place on January 20th – 22nd, 2017! She Innovates was created by the Department of Computer Science (CS), and is currently co-hosted by CS, the Innovation Institute, Pitt Women in Computer Science (WiCS), and the Pitt Computer Science Club. She Innovates encourages the participation of all female Pitt students and prides itself on providing a space for women to come together to learn, grow, hack, and empower each other. She Innovates prides itself on being an event that fosters the collaboration of women from different backgrounds with a common shared love of technology and problem solving.
