Constantinos Costa is currently a Visiting Research Scholar and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Advanced Data Management Technologies Lab (ADMT) and holds a PhD from the University of Cyprus (UCY). Until recently, he was a researcher at the Department of Computer Science (UCY) and a member of the Data Management Systems Laboratory (DMSL). His primary research interests include big data management in parallel and distributed architectures, spatio-temporal data management, urban informatics, network and telco data management. Constantinos has contributed extensively to open source projects for indoor navigation, crowd messaging and telco big data. He was selected to participate to the Heidelberg Laureate Forum (2016), the Onassis Foundation (2017) and the ACM Europe Summer School on Data Science (2018).
